Enhancements

PBS Analytics Enhancements
| • | Expose Filter values within Top N Charts in Filter tab |
| • | Expose Filter values within Multi-Dimensional Charts in Filter tab |
Resolved Issues
PBS Portal
Plaintext password in Portal log entry.
Previous versions the PBS Portal stored the Postgres password within the Portal logs. This has been resolved and is no longer an issue in 10.4.
PBS Catalyst
Catalyst should not clobber manually edited Application Definitions.
Previous versions of PBS Catalyst would overwrite any manually added changes to an PBS Professional Application Services “Application Definition” file. Measures have been taken to protect the integrity of these manually edited files in 10.4.
Grayed out "advanced/basic" button still works
Previous versions of PBS Catalyst had inconsistent behavior when selecting between both Basic and Advanced views of an Application via the Job Submission widget. This confusion has been resolved in 10.4 as the expected behavior of this functionality has resumed.
Inconsistent sorting behavior with job monitoring panes
Previously, when the customer turned on filtering to hide finished jobs the system seemed to lose track of the sorting by jobid. This has been resolved in 10.4.
PBS Data Collector
Graphs contain negative values
Now the Data Collector will detect an "E" job record that has negative values for the following measures(wait_time, overall_time, CPU_time(used/req), walltime(used/req),memory(used/req), vmemory(used/req)). Data Collector will append this "E" record to a file with the name of the source PBS Accounting log file. Example: File "20070308" will be created in the "unsupportedRecord" folder. All "E" records that meet this criteria for a given PBS accounting log will be placed into this file.
Data Collector installer does not mask Postgres password
The PBS Data Collector 10.2 would display the inputted password via the summary screen of the installer. The current version now encrypts the password, essentially masking it prior to installation.
Known Issues
PBS Portal
The PBS Portal installer leaves temporary files on the system when the installation has been aborted.
The PBS Portal installer will leave all temporary installation files on the system if for any reason the installation process has been aborted. This has been determined to be a known InstallAnywhere issue. Please check for the existence of any previously created temporary files prior to attempting a new installation.
PBS Catalyst
User cannot resubmit finished jobs
After a job has finished running and the results have been evaluated, the user makes minor changes to the input file, and re-submits the job. Unfortunately, the user receives an error message saying “resubmission failed”. This is not the desired behavior, and will be resolved within a future release.
PBS Analytics
The value of categorized by is incorrectly displayed on the print preview page
When the user selects the print preview page option from the context menu , for the Top-Ten Dimension chart, the value of categorized by is incorrectly displayed on the print preview page. This is not the desired behavior, and will be resolved within a future release.
